Hi there!! I go by Marybelle, and I'm the webmistress of this place! I'm a 16-year-old girl with too many passions like coding, watching anime, reading and playing video games. My pronouns are she/her, and I’m obsessed with everything cute, like Sanrio and lolita fashion!! I can speak Arabic, French, English, Spanish and Japanese. I’m less fluent in the last two ones, so beware if you want to interact with me in Japanese or Spanish cuz I may sound like a little toddler. I have a B2 level in English, but I may also make many mistakes (especially with conjugation ughh). My biggest passions right now are Pikmin and Lupin the 3rd!
Despite it being an easy task to do, I’m super bad at describing my personality, as it often depends on who I’m with: most people I rarely talk to tell me I'm a serious, mature calm person, but I'm usually described as more extroverted and energetic with my friends and family. But in general, I’m really empathic, thoughtful and, unfortunately, always stressed. I’ve struggled a lot with negative thoughts and self-hatred since childhood, and it’s really hard for me to move on from this stage. I’ll be working hard on loving myself, no matter what — and I hope you do too!!!
I've been working on this website since summer 2023... yes, I know... one year is long compared to how much content there's here! My interest in coding began on a dress-up game called "Everskies". On that platform, you can use HTML and CSS to create your unique profile page, just like how Tumblr allows blog customization. I learned coding by experimenting with other people’s codes rather than following a one-hour YouTube tutorial on HTML and CSS. That’s probably why I’m still slacking in some of the very basic concepts. After a while, I discovered "Neocities" by stumbling upon the website Purinnland (its creator has since moved to Swirl, and quit this year I think ?) and decided to make my own internet hideout!
The reason why I took so much time to share it is that I was never quite satisfied with the end results. I fell into an endless loop of building and destroying, reworking everything over and over again... Well, until this summer, when my ass finally decided to update the index!!! And that's basically how this website made its way on the web! As for 2024, I'm super glad that some people liked my website, and I'm looking forward to interacting with more amazing creators in the future!
